Trial Lessons

We offer special introductory prices to anybody wishing to discover the fun and manoeuvrability of a helicopter.  Treat yourself! A trial lesson is the perfect present for those wanting to give a memorable and exciting gift experience to friends or family. Or treat someone else!

We recommend a 30-minute trial lesson. On the day, the recipient will be given a briefing on the effects of controls and how the helicopter flies and a safety briefing before the flight. After that it’s up, up and away to explore the local area for general handling before returning to the airfield for low-level flying and hovering.

The student handles the controls and flies the aircraft as much as you want to under the watchful eye of one of our experienced instructors. Back on the ground, the recipient receives a certificate of achievement, signed by his or her instructor!

This first flight can be counted towards the issue of the Private Pilot Licence, should the recipient wish to start their training. The trial lesson is designed to be fun and to give the recipient an overview of what is required to obtain their Private Pilot Licence. Ask us for an information pack after your lesson!

The lesson will be taken in one of our Robinson R22 or R44 helicopters. Check our Helicopter Fleet to see our training helicopters.

Contact us for a gift purchase, which is valid for six months. You can also incorporate a short trial lesson experience in groups as part of a corporate day development day.
